After we started our renovation... we heard a rumor that the Taproom will be installing a $1 Million retractable roof.
No, that's some other place. But since you asked, here's some other things we're not going to be doing:

  • Charge you $5-$10 to come inside, just because everyone else is
  • Pass that $1 Million on to you through our drink prices
  • Tell you what to wear
  • put a lizard in our floor, so we can add $1 to every drink's price
  • Sue the City over a law and pass the legal costs on to the customers
  • Feature 3 lame cover bands, all playing Freebird at the same time on three different stages
  • Make you buy one hundred separate $7 beers to join our "beer club"

    Highland's Taproom is a proud member of The American Society of Composers, Authors, and Publishers (ASCAP). Our Karaoke offers ASCAP licensed music.

    Feature some of the best underground music and art this city has to offer. The monthly night will feature two DJs playing a range of blues, old R&B, Jazz, Psych Rock and a little alternative hip hop. Select guest musical acts. Featured artwork from select artists each month.

    Are you a Wall of Famer?

    Check out the new "Wall of Fame". If you're a regular Beer Club drinker, come out to the taproom and claim some prime wall real estate. We've been around for a while and so have some dusty mugs. The barroom is cleared out and only the die-hards get wall space.

    All Beer Club members will continue to receive member prices and we still have your mug. We've just remodeled a little, ask your favorite bartender for your personal mug. If you want to be a Wall of Famer, come claim your spot!
